Jenkins, Lewis A.

ALBANY- Lewis A. Jenkins, 94, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Born in Hagaman, NY he was the son of the late Anthony and Malvina (Makacinas) Jankunas. He was an Army Veteran of WWII having served with the 126th General Hospital. Mr. Jenkins was a graduate of Siena College and Albany Law School and was in private practice in Albany for many years.

He was a Communicant of the former Church of the Holy Cross in Albany. He loved to play golf and travel around the world with Joan.

Mr. Jenkins was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan (Ruhland) Jenkins in 2008. Survivors include a son, Lawrence (Yvonne) Jenkins; daughter, Donna (Guy) Northrup, all of Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
