Jo Ann Lowe

ALBANY- Jo Ann (J-LO) Lowe, age 83, passed away on Saturday, May 24th, 2025.
Born in Albany, NY to the late Andrew and Josephine Osterhout, Jo Ann worked as a clerk for NY teachers retirement system. She was also a member of Castleton Firehouse and Holy Sprit Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her significant other, Douglas Lebrecht, her son, Edward Lyons, and her brother, Raymond Osterhout.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Dan Carson Sr.), sister, Diane McLean, Granddaughter Stephanie Carson, Grandson Dan Carson JR, and Great Grandson Clayton Carson.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, at Daniel Keenan Funeral Home at 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Spirit Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont.
