Jon Carter Clark, Jr., died February 24, 2026 after a more than four-year battle with cancer.

Jon was born January 7, 1976. He attended William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, NY, where he played cello and was a member of the varsity wrestling team. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Susquehanna University and his master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Albany.

He is survived by his mother, Carole; his siblings Robert, Heather, and Clifford; his niece, Katrina; his nephews, Tristram, Grayson, and Lincoln; and his beloved cat, Charcoal; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jon requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Evan’s Crew Pan-Mass Challenge via this link: profile.PMC.org/dk0267

We would be honored if you would share your memories of Jon here and celebrate him now in your own way. The family will plan a celebration of his life for a future date. If we have your email, we will send an Evite and will also post on Jon’s Facebook page.
