Judith A. Pomakoy

DELMAR- Judith A. Pomakoy, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 23, 2025
Born and educated in Albany Judy was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Reinisch) Pomakoy, Sr. She graduated from Cardinal McCloskey High School and work for over 30 years as a secretary for NYS Dept. of Agriculture and Markets. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Delmar.
Judy is survived by her sisters Joan Pomakoy, Mary Ann Weidman and Barbara Mahar as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings Margaret Ludwick, Regina Glasser, William, Robert, James, Joseph, Andrew, Gerald and Frank Pomakoy.
Her family would like to give a very special thank you to Erin Nichol, Hospice Nurse, who took excellent care of our Judy.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 3, 2025 at 11 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church 35 Adams St. Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with Judy's family prior to the Mass from 9 to 10:30 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204.
