Kelley, Lillian I.

ALBANY- Lillian I. (Johnston) Kelley, 86, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born in Ogdensburg, she was daughter of the late William and Lucy (Barber) Johnston and lived in Albany most of her life. She retired from the City of Albany where she worked for over 15 years .Mrs. Kelley loved her family and will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband George J. Kelley, Sr., son William Kelley and her sister Betty (Pete) Chambers. She is survived by her children George (Deborah) Kelley Jr., Thomas (Mary) Kelley, Charles Kelley, Timothy Kelley, and Mary (Nick) Tallman; her sisters Peggy (late Larry) Denny, Barbara (Glenn) Fuller, Donna (Fred) Bennett and Bev (Melvin) Perry; also many grandchildren, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Fera and staff, the staff of 2 McAuley at St. Peter’s Hospital and the Community Hospice of Albany for all of their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 3-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany followed by a service at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie on Thursday, October 1, 2015, the funeral procession will form at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
