Khoury, Nicholas Steven

VOORHEESVILLE- Nicholas Steven Khoury, beloved infant son of Nicholas and Carolyn Khoury, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016 in his parents’ arms and surrounded by his family. He is the cherished great grandson of Elias Khoury, great great nephew of Alice Hettinger, grandson of Michael and Frances Alvino, Steven and Virginia Khoury, and Anthony Sherwell, and nephew of Noah and Sara Khoury and Michael, Brenna, Christopher, and Catherine Alvino. He joins his great grandparents Anthony and Rose Vacca, Doris Khoury, Pasquale and Mary Alvino, and Leo Miller.

Nicholas gave his parents more joy than they had ever known before and inspired love and devotion from everyone who knew him. Nicholas always kicked when his mother ate pizza or played the piano and when his father talked to him at night. During his six days of life, his mother and father held him, read him books, and sang “You Are My Sunshine.” Like his mother, Nicholas had dark brown eyes and flowing black hair. Nicholas is the love of his parents’ lives and they will carry his memory forever in their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY 12209.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
