Koeppe, Janet A.

ALBANY-Janet A. (Griffin) Koeppe, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, surrounded by her family. Born in Canada she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Griffin. She came to the Albany area in the 1960’s. Janet was a clerk with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Service for more than 35 years.

She loved to bake and was an avid baseball fan of the New York Mets, having enjoyed attending their games in NYC.

Beloved mother of Candi M. Lashley and the late William Koeppe; cherished grandmother of William and Johnny Koeppe and Lamont Lashley and great-grandmother of Jaila Lashley; mother-in-law of Terrie Koeppe. She was predeceased by her siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Janet’s family on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany. The evening will conclude with a service at 7:30 p.m.
