GLENMONT – William E. Languish, Sr. 92, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Guilderland Manor.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Otto and Mary (Rock) Languish.Mr. Languish was employed as a foreman for Delmar Publishing and Crest Litho both in Colonie for many years. He later worked as a courier for Farm Family Insurance in Glenmont. He was a longtime member of the Selkirk #2 Fire Dept. and was a Free and Accepted Mason.
Husband of the late Phyllis (Gardeneer) Languish; father of William (Maureen) Languish, Jr. of Selkirk and Amy Languish and partner Noreen Prenty of Glenmont; brother-in-law ofDena Ann Gardeneer of North Lansingburgh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and a great-grand niece and nephew.
Mr. Languish was predeceased by his siblings Charles, Ruth, Otto, and Johanna Languish and his brother-in-law, Phillip Gardeneer.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 4-7pm. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
