DELMAR-June C. Hennessy LeFevre , 80, entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2016, at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

Born in Dorloo, NY she was a long time resident of the Selkirk area. June retired from the NYS Thruway Authority in Albany after 20years of service. Since June's husband of 54 years was a Korean War Veteran and Purple Heart recipient; the couple donated much of their time traveling with and volunteering at several veteran organizations. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Boyd Hilton VFW Post in Altamont, the Military Order of the Cooties (VFW) and several other Veteran organizations in which she held officer positions. June was a communicant of St. John’s-St. Ann’s Church in Albany. She loved traveling, camping and spending time with her family.

June was pre-deceased by her husband, Louis E. LeFevre Sr and several siblings. She was the loving mother of Louis LeFevre Jr (Patricia) of Ravena, Anthony LeFevre Sr (Cynthia) of Albany and Dorothy LeFevre of East Greenbush. June was the cherished grandmother of Anthony LeFevre Jr, Michael LeFevre, Colleen Monington, Cecilia Anderson, Brandon LeFevre, Jillian LeFevre; and five great grandchildren. June was the sister of Alice Hennessy Jones (Leslie) of Albany and Richard Hennessy (Pat) of East Greenbush . She is survived by many nieces, nephews and faithful friends, Pat Hall, Marion Kittleman and Caroline Weisenburn. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with June’s family on Monday December 12th from 4-6 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home 490 Delaware Ave Albany. There will be a prayer service at 5:30 pm.
