ALBANY- Victoria Lofrumento, 98, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late Peter and Laura (Gravina) Lofrumento. Vicki retired from the former Sterling Winthrop Drug Company in Rensselaer after 39 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Aunt Vicki loved her family, pizza, hot peppers, ice cream and bingo.
She was the sister of the late John Lofrumento, Peter Gravin, Rose Robertson, Nancy Muraski, Laura Izzo, Margaret DelBelso, Anthony, Joseph and Michael Lofrumento. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Peter’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where Victoria was a resident and was known as “Queen Victoria” for almost 15 years. We are grateful for their attentive care throughout the years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
