ALBANY- Lori Kearsing of Albany, New York passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. A lifelong resident of Albany, Lori was a woman defined by her strength, resilience, and unwavering determination. Born with Cerebral Palsy, she faced challenges from the very beginning, but she never allowed them to define or limit her. Lori approached life with a stubborn spirit and fierce perseverance, pushing through every obstacle that came her way, including her courageous battle with cancer. Above all else, Lori loved family deeply. She found immense joy in spending time with her nieces and nephews, especially during cherished sleepovers with her great nieces and nephews, moments that brought her endless happiness and laughter. Lori also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved cats. She adored them and they were never far away from her side, often all six cats curled up with her, bringing comfort and companionship. Lori is survived by her siblings, Robert Kearsing (Lori M), and Debbie Marks (Kenny) and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Dolores Kearsing, her sister, Patty Kelly, who passed away just two months prior, and her fiancé, Billy, the lover of her life. Lori will be remembered for her strength, stubborn determination, her deep love for her family, and the way she continued to fight and live life on her own terms. She lived life her way - determined and full of love, and that's exactly how she will be remembered.
