Luther, Philip F.

ALBANY- Philip F. Luther, 65, entered into Eternal life at home, Tuesday January 10, 2017 with his beloved wife by his side. Philip was the son of the late Dr. Philip and Lois (Ford) Luther. He graduated from Albany High School and Albany College of Pharmacy. Philip worked as a licensed pharmacist at Child’s Nursing Home and at Albany County Nursing Home. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and sang in the choir. Philip was also a member of the Jubilate Chorus of the Capital region.

He is survived by his wife Rose-Ellen (Kratz) Luther; his brother Jack (Carole) Luther of Menands, and his sister Susan (Rick) Smith of Texas; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:30 am in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave. Delmar.
