ALBANY-Stephen R. Lyman, III, 64, passed away suddenly on January 21, 2017 at home.
Born in Albany and a graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School he was the son of the late Dorothy (Rohrmiller) Lyman and Stephen R. Lyman, Jr. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Stephen was a machinist, first for NL Industries in Colonie and then at the Watervliet Arsenal. He later went to school and returned to the workforce as a computer Programmer.
He enjoyed reading.
Survivors include his son, Stephen (Miho) Lyman, IV; his daughter, Kristin M. (Alexander) Lyman-Dinzey; his brother, Michael E. (Kathy) Lyman; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law, Douglas Cullen. He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Mercer.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Stephen’s family Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Albany. A service will follow at 7 p.m.
