Lynch, Helen R.

TROY- Helen Rose (Bartkowski) Lynch, 103, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Eddy Heritage House Nursing Center. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophia (Jaros) Bartkowski. Mrs. Lynch was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time in Naples, Florida and fishing with her husband off the Florida coast.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Lynch; sons John Lynch and Thomas Lynch; and her sisters Ann Vogel, Marge Grant and Frances Bartkowski and her grandson Drew Lynch. Survivors include her son Edmund Lynch and his wife Patricia of Colorado; her daughter-in-law Kathryn Lynch of Florida; grandchildren Michael (Lisa) Lynch, Marybeth (Jeffrey) Kingsley and Sean (Wendy) Lynch; her 8 great-grandchildren; her nephew Peter (Janet) Grant and niece Carol (Richard) Killian.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Monday morning March 6, 2017 from 9:00 – 10:00 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Mansion Street, Coxsackie, NY. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Coxsackie. Those who wish may send donations in memory of Helen to their favorite charity.
