MALL, RAKHEL
ALBANY-Rakhl Mall, 82, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Rakhel was called into Heaven by the Angels of God, while surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born August 14, 1927, in Sargodha, Pakistan, Rakhel was the daughter of the late Ranga Mall and Mahtab Bibi. She shared 52 years of marriage and friendship with her husband, Newton Mall. She earned her degree in Nursing in Ludhiana, India. After working for several years as a professional nurse in Pakistan, she and her family moved to the United States, settling in Albany, New York. She worked in the nursing profession at Albany Medical Center continuing her quest for caring for others. Rakhel enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and was a devout member of the Emmaus Methodist Church. Rakhel
