Mantica, Paula M.

ALBANY- Paula M. Mantica died Thurday, August 18, 2016 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse and raised and educated in Bethlehem. Paula worked for the NYS Legistative Bill Drafting Commission for several years. She cared deeply for animals, was an avid golfer and loved doting on her great-grand niece Elizabeth. Paula was predeceased by her parents John and Catherine (Cox) Mantica and sister Lisa Portanova. She is survived by her niece and nephews Gregory, Patricia and John Portanova; many cousins and dear friends, especially her “second mom” Kate Russo.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Inurnment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
