ALBANY- Margherita (DeLuise) Scarlassare, 84, passed away at home on Monday September 15, 2025. Born and educated in Montemurro, Italy she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Maddalena (Robilotta) DeLuise. Mrs. Scarlassare came to the United States with her husband in 1973. She was a homemaker.
Wife of the late Giuseppe Scarlassare, she is survived by her daughter Maria Scarlassare her son Francesco Scarlassare her granddaughter Francesca (Yesmil Pina Troncoso) Archina 2 great-grandchildren Adriel J Pina and Anthony Pina her brother Giuseppe (Nancy) DeLuise as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Antoinetta Coduti and brother Giovanni DeLuise.
Her funeral Mass and burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
