Marjorie A. Richards

ALBANY- Marjorie A. Richards (Terry) passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday July 24, 2026. Terry was born in Burlington, VT on October 3, 1941. She was the loving daughter of the late Helen and Ronald Richards. Raised in Albany, NY, Terry graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. After high school, Terry worked for Leon’s Clothing Store for many years before she moved on to the Albany Housing Authority as a Project Manager where she retired in 2001. Terry’s passions were shopping and spoiling her very much loved nieces and nephews. Terry leaves behind her loving siblings/caregivers Lynn (Rick) Salisbury and Randy (Bettyann) also siblings Patricia (Michael) Heeran, Sherrie McCullough, Robert and Russell. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Terry is predeceased by her parents, Helen and Ronald and her brothers Ronald and Richard. The family would like to thank the staff at the former St Peter’s Nursing Facility in Albany and the very caring staff at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home in East Greenbush. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 10 am-12 noon in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm. She will then be interred at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont.
