ALBANY-Patricia A. (Riley) McGraw, 70, died suddenly Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Albany Medical Center.
Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Zeccola) Riley. Mrs. McGraw worked for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles for more than 25 years, retiring in 2009. She was a member if the Ladies Auxiliary Albany Lodge of Elks, BPOE #49.
Mrs. McGraw enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood NJ, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and cruising the caribbean. Her other interests included bowling, day trips to Foxwoods and Friday nights watching “Blue Bloods”; and most especially spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. “Unk” McGraw, Jr. Survivors include her children, Sharon M. (Jerry) Salvo and John “Jay” McGraw; cherished granddaughters, Alyssa and Gina Salvo; the “love of her life” and great-granddaughter, Ava Riley Hulsopple; and best friend, Anne DiSanto. She is also survived by her aunt, Lillian Vierling of Latham and many cousins and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
