Michne, Jill E.

GLENMONT- Jill Elizabeth Michne passed away on March 30, 2022. Jill was a beloved wife, daughter, sister and aunt. Those who knew Jill, knew of her thoughtfulness and witnessed her loving and patient ways in everything she did.

Jill cherished the bond with her dogs and she loved them endlessly. They were a source of joy and love that let unconditional love flow so freely between them. Over the years she and her husband Andy had 8 dogs, Albert, Eddie, Quincy, Brodie, Peaches, Molly, Barbie and Leo. She also supported various rescue groups over the years with donations, her time and her skills.

Jill was an artist who expressed her creativity in many forms. For several years she had her own business, Pet Wicks, creating pressed flower memorial candles with images of the pets embedded in the candles. She always went the extra mile working with the pet owners to create the perfect memorial candle.

Jill also had a masters degree in special education, and after working as a special ed teacher, she joined Andy in the web development business. Although she could take on any role in the business, she really enjoyed using her creativity to create intuitive web sites that also had visual impact. Jill and Andy worked side by side in the web business for 22 years.

Jill is survived by her husband Andy, her mother Sue Apicelli, her step father, Al Apicelli, her brother, Steven Ayers, and her niece Sarah Ayers, her step brother Scott Apicelli and his wife Heather Apicelli, and nieces Kelsie Apicelli and Rylee Apicelli, and her step sister Lisa Wood and her husband Tom Wood, and niece Caitlin Wood and nephew Steven Wood.
