Munafo, Mary M.

LOUDONVILLE-Mary M. Munafo, 59, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her home.

Born in Albany she is the cherished daughter of Anna Mae Munafo of Albany and the late N. Vincent Munafo. Mary was a graduate of the former Vincentian Institute and SUNY Cobleskill. She retired in 2013 as a systems analyst for the New York State Dept. of Tax and Finance. Mary loved horses, horseback riding, needlework and gardening. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was a communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi.

In addition to her mother, Mary is survived by her beloved daughter, Brigid Munafo of Albany; three sisters, Rose Ann Munafo of Anchorage, AK, Theresa Munafo of Albany, Martha Munafo and her husband Joseph Bucci of Albany; her niece, Vivian Munafo of Albany; many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary’s family on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Her funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St., Albany with Reverend John Tallman as the celebrant. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
