Nancy Ellen Cleary (Pelton), born November 6, 1963, passed away on April 21, 2026, surrounded by her family and love. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, and deep love for those closest to her.
Nancy was a woman of quiet strength and a truly kind heart; who found joy in life’s simple things, especially tending to her garden, where her care and patience brought beauty to everything she touched. She spent her lifelong career at Broadview Bank, where she built many lasting friendships and was well loved by her coworkers.
Above all, she was proud to be a mom. Her daughters, Grace and Anna, were her greatest joy, and she devoted her life to loving and supporting them. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Steve, and together they shared a life full of love. She gave of herself selflessly, always putting others before her own needs.
Nancy was also never far from her beloved dog, Gunnar, who was always by her side.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughters, Grace and Anna; her siblings, Sharon, Judy, Paul, Chris, and Terri. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary (Cross) Pelton and John Pelton. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at her home in Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Street Soldiers in Albany.
Her love lives on in her family who she held so close, and all who knew her.
