Osborne, Paul E.

GLOVERSVILLE-Paul E. Osborne, 70, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, after a brief illness.

Born in Gloversville and a graduate of Fonda High School, he was the beloved son of Betty (Bates) Osborne and the late Elton Osborne. Paul served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Navy and was a member of the Seabees, the US Naval Construction Forces. Paul worked as a forklift operator and general laborer, retiring in the 1990’s.

He enjoyed walking, the outdoors and loved animals. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Linda (Walters) Osborne; children, Brian Osborne and Jeannie (Peter) Faboskay; siblings, Bonita (William) Bartholomew, Judy (Dan) Hayes, Douglas Osborne, Beverly (Jamie) Osborne and Beth Osborne. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
