Palmer, Jane A.

COXSACKIE – Jane A. (Kirkwood) Palmer, 65, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.Born on Staten Island, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Kirkwood and lived in Coxsackie since 1973. Jane had a 30 year career with Amtrak as a statistical clerk. She was past PTO president of Coxsackie-Athens Elementary School and past president of the former C-A Gals softball league. Jane was a die-hard NY Yankee fan and was especially fond of Derek Jeter.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Henry A. Palmer. She is the loving mother of Heather (Joe) Wolodkevich and Crystal (John) Bull; grandmother of Joseph, late Alex, Maggie, Kelsey, Jackson and Ian; and sister of Ellen (Arthur) Crane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Max.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life to be scheduled in May.
