Patricia Ann Kelley

ALBANY- Patricia Ann Kelley (Kearsing), age 65, was devastatingly taken on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 following an unforeseen tragedy in her home.

Born in Albany, NY she was the daughter of the late Randall and Dolores Kearsing.

She was known to many for her love, strength, courage, generosity, and willingness to forgive, regardless of the circumstances. She would go out of her way to help others in any way possible and do whatever she could to improve an unfortunate situation.

She loved camping, gardening, baking, and the ocean. She looked forward to yearly camping trips with the family. She had outdoor flowers and plants that she's tend to every year, no matter how hard the task became over time. She would bake almost daily and when the holidays came around, she'd be in the kitchen for several days prior, baking enough sweets to feed a football team and made sure everyone had their favorite to enjoy.

Whenever she was able, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who kept her young as she grew older. She couldn't always keep up with them, but when that was the case, she would sit back with her camera ready and smile as she watched.

Patty is survived by her children, Jenn Kelley (Jeremy), Randy Kelley (Shelly), Mike Kelley, and Brian Kelley; grandchildren, Lily, Alex, Andy, Aubrey, Christopher, and Abigail; her siblings. Bob Kearsing (Lori), Debbie Marks (Kenny), and Lori Kearsing; and many other that were very dear to her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 1-3pm at Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave, Albany, followed by a funeral service at 3pm. In Lieu of flowers those who who wish may send memorial contributions in Patty's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204.
