Perkins-Fiddemon, Babette

ALBANY – Babette (Barbara) Perkins-Fiddemon, 65 passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Babette was educated in the Albany school systems. She is the daughter of Mary Lou Perkins and the late Thomas Perkins. Babette retired from Computer Services Corp (CSC) as a Coordinator in the Data Entry Department.

Babette was predeceased by her husband, Roger Lee Fiddemon, her daughter Patricia Fiddemon and sister Thomasine Gross. She is survived by her children Milisa (Lowendell) Folks, Latonja Stephens, Roger, Barbara, Calvin and Kaleaf Fiddemon; siblings Peggy Welch (late Willie), Carolyn Frame, Sabrina Young and Patricia Welcome; 28 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17 at 11 a.m. in Mount Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 236 North Pearl St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow service at Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Ave.
