Pregent, Helen M.

DELMAR- Helen M. Pregent, 90, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. Born in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (White) Pregent. Miss Pregent was a graduate of Mildred Elley Business School and retired from the New York Telephone Company in 1983 after over 37 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elsmere Fire Company and the Scarlet Harlequin Red Hat Chapter. She was a longtime communicant of the Parish of Mater Christi and a member of the Active Adult Club.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Edrie M. Pregent of Delmar; nephew, John T. Pregent, Jr.
