Ramee, Jane Ellen

TROY- Jane Ellen Kelly Rameé passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Born in New York city to Herbert and Marjorie (Haynes) Kelly, she attended the College of New Rochelle in Westchester, New York. In 1970, the family relocated to Albany. Jane Ellen had a long life surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She loved family, friends, gardening and spending summers by the beach. Jane Ellen was known for her wonderful parties. During her career, she worked as an employment counselor with Anton Wood Associates.

Jane Ellen was predeceased by her husband of 49 years George W. Rameé, and their daughter Georgeanne Ramee.

She is survived by her sister Margaret Ann (Peggy) Kummerer; children Paul H. (Caren) Rameé, Michael (Anne) Rameé, Noelle (Gary) Adalian, Ellen R. (James) Wagner, Richard W. (Claudia) Rameé, and Peter J. (Virginia) Rameé, and grandchildren Michael (Kristy) Adalian, Robert Hickey, Maggie A. (Dustin) Lawlor, Kristen (Michael) Pedersen, and Nicole Rameé.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 19, 2016, at 9:30 AM at the Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill. The inurnment will be held privately.
