Reinhardt, Mary Agnes

ALBANY- Mary Agnes Reinhardt, beloved child of God, passed into eternity peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 Mary loved her family and friends and chose their happiness over her own throughout her life. Greater still, however, was her love for God, nurtured by her deeply rooted Roman Catholic faith. Even as her temporal body was ravaged by the cancer that took her from us too soon, she beseeched all who could hear to listen to Jesus’s desire that we “love one another, even as I have loved you”. If you wish to honor our mother, we can think of no better way than to take a moment to read John 15:12 prayerfully.

Mary was the devoted wife of the late Fred J. Reinhardt; sister of John (Dolores) Liewergen, Edward Liewergen and the late Pam Liewergen; sister-in-law of LaVergne (Richard) Stevens; mother of Karen (Eric) Pansegro, Glenn (Louise) Reinhardt, Laura (Danny) Fallon and Janet Reinhardt. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, David Oken, Jesse Reinhardt, Sara Trujillo, Kitty and Alex Sharp and their father Peter; her precious great grandsons, Jake and Seth Oken; many loving nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10:30 am in the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
