RUTLAND, VT.-Frank Riccardi, 92, formerly of Albany, NY died peacefully Sunday, December 22, 2013 at The Pines of Rutland Nursing Home.
Frank was employed by the city Parks Department in Albany before moving to Vermont and was an avid NY Yankees fan.
Frank is survived by his nephew Tom Skelly and his wife, Charline, and their family, Michael Skelly, Colleen and Steve Pietryka, Sarah and Seth Pietryka, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings William Riccardo, Berma Sano, Mary Neander, Josephine Pennello and Elvira Skelly.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to all the staff at The Pines for their dedication and loving care of Frank and his family.
Funeral services with The Rev. Fr. Robert Hohenstein presiding will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
