Riley, Nettie

ALBANY- Anita “Nettie” Riley, 84, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her family. A lifelong Albany resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Monti) Fiato Sr., and wife of James Donald Riley for 66 years. Nettie was a graduate of St. James Institute and Vincentian Institute. She was a Communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish (formerly St. James Church) and a Charter member of the Columbiettes #173. She was also a former member of AARP #78.

In addition to her devoted husband Don, she is survived by her loving children Donna Sullivan (Jeff) of Albany, Michael Riley (Maureen) of Hilton Head, SC, Mark Riley (Susan) of Alpharetta, GA, Matt Riley (Leslie) of N, Greenbush and Cathy Daley (Bob) of Queensbury; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren ; many nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Fiato,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 10, 2014 at 8:30 am in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. on Thursday October 9, 2014 from 3-7 pm. Interment at 10:30 am in Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY.
