Sano, Germaine F. “Geri”

ALBANY- Germaine F "Geri". Sano, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Germain) Sano. Germaine worked as a stenographer with the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets. She loved to laugh, was very witty and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was an avid fan of real life crime shows.

Survivors include her brother, John “Duke” (Beatrice) Sano; sisters Shirley (Ned) Norton and June Sano (Barbagallo); several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 28, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, 125 Eagle St. Albany .Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
