Scarpellino, Mary L.

RENSSELAER- Mary L. Scarpellino, 73, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Riley. Mary worked for the NYS Research Foundation and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She was the wife of John Scarpellino: mother of Robert Giacomino, Karen Kelley, Jean Meher and the late Rocco Giacomino; sister of Barbara Russo and the late Peg Link, Betty Hallenbeck, William and Raymond Riley; grandmother of Rocco, Nicholas, and Samantha Giacomino, Billy Thibodeau III, Aiden Kelley and Lauren Meher; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately.
