Scheu, Joan E.

ALBANY- Joan E. Scheu, 88, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Quickenton) Scheu.

Sister of the late Virginia Davis, Diane Rossman, her twin sister Jean Gunnison and Frank Scheu, Jr. Survivors include her devoted sister-in-law and friend, Wanda Scheu and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan also leaves behind her three angels on earth, Darlene, Heidi and especially Jane whose loving care went far beyond work to bring joy and comfort to a special person.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home from 11am prior to the service. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
