Shadi Khan, Rafiq

ALBANY- Rafiq Shadi Khan, 87, of Albany died on Friday, July 11, 2014. She was born in Pakistan, and was a teacher for twenty-five years at Christ Missionary School in Pakistan. She later served as the school principal for fifteen years. Rafiq immigrated to the United States in 1986 and worked for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance for twelve years. She is survived by five children and seven grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Roberta Miller and her staff for their excellent care over the past year.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing and funeral service on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church, 447 Krumkill Rd, Albany, NY 12203, Viewing will take place from 9:30- 11:00 am and funeral service at 11:00 am. followed by entombment in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
