Slattery, Angeline R.

ALBANY- Angeline R. (McCabe) Slattery, 102, died Friday, March 20, 2015 at Rosewood Nursing Home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Angeline (Pasquini) McCabe and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names.Mrs. Slattery was a bookkeeper at Vincentian Institute for many years.

Wife of the late John Slattery; mother of Anne (Tony) Fleishman, Denis (Kyla Marion), John (Barbara Shahen), Frank (Linda), May Ellen Pistana and Carol (James) Smith, Cheryl Slattery; and her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Michael, her sisters Mary Neubauer, Jane Pedlow and her brother Jack McCabe.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilation Center for their outstanding care especially Cheryl Brunick for her constant care, support and friendship.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 9:30 am in Historic St. Mary’s Church on Capitol Hill, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy, NY. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to Rosewood Activity Fund, 284 Troy Rd, Rensselaer, NY 12144
