Spinosa, Kathryn M.

DELMAR – Kathryn M. (Magoon) Spinosa, passed away with family by her side on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. Born and educated in Pittsfield, MA, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Elton and Maude (Tillotson) Magoon, Kathryn worked for the Bob Howard Realty Group for many years and then owned her own firm, the Realty Executive Agency. She was a past president of the Albany County Board of Realtors. Kathryn was close with her caring neighbors and enjoyed her daily walks. She loved chocolate and ice cream and cherished her many dogs throughout the years.

Kathryn was predeceased by her husband Vincent (Jim); her brother Charles Magoon; and her sister Ethel Tower. She is survived by her children Sandra McCormack of Virginia, Vincent (Debbie) Spinosa of Delmar, and William Spinosa, her caretaker for the last two years; her brother John (Sharon) Magoon of Massachusetts; sister-in-law Lucia Magoon of Arizona; her five grandchildren Shauna (Ryan), Caitlin (James) Nicole (Michael), James and Christopher; her two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ashlyn; also many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with her family on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Her Funeral service will follow at 7 pm. Interment will take place this Spring in Vermont.
