Spinosa, Mildred

ALBANY- Mildred Spinosa, 97, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 surrounded by family. Born in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Delia (Wood) Keast. Mildred was a long time member and Past President of the Greater Capital Region Business and Professional Women. She was a well known calligrapher and owner of The Paperie; a stationery business. Mildred was a real estate associate for 23 years having been with O’Connor Sullivan Real Estate, Cohn, Yaguda and Cronin, and Roberts Real Estate.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, James V. Spinosa. She is mother of Lawrence J. (Holly) Spinosa of Albany; and Cathy Spinosa Mathewson (Charles) of Arroyo Grande, CA; grandmother of Joseph Martin of Albany; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Helen Burrows, Elizabeth Lee, Lillian Perkins, Gladys Benedict, Lucille Fitzgerald, Winifred Dorsett, Henry, Frederick and Clyde Keast.

Her warm heart and charitable spirit will live on in all of us that loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc. 490 Delaware Ave. and also to attend her Funeral Mass Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House.
