Taaffe, Dolores M.

CASTLETON- Dolores M. Taaffe, 82, died suddenly Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Eleanor (O’Donnell) Taaffe, and was a graduate of Cathedral Academy. She worked at Sterling Winthrop for several years. She is survived by her cousins, Albert and William Burkhard and many friends at the Capital City Rescue Mission.

A Calling hour will be held Monday, July 21, 2014 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at The Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St., Albany at 11:00am. All are invited to attend. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY. Those who wish may send donations to the Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 S Pearl St, Albany, NY 12202.
