ALBANY-Frank F. “Red” Terwelp, 88, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center in Delmar.
Born in Larchmont, New York he was the son of the late Frederick E. and Mildred F. (Robinson) Terwelp. Frank was an Army-Air Corps Veteran. He retired from the D & H Railroad after 35 years of service.
Frank was life time member of the Clifton Park Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid bowler with leagues in Albany and a NY Yankees fan of long standing.
He is survived by his son, Scott Terwelp of Pahrump, NV; and his beloved sister, Mildred Terwelp of Delmar.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Interment will be in Greenbush Cemetery, East Greenbush.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Clifton Park-Halfmoon Volunteer Fire Department, 38 Old Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
