Therrien, Patricia F.

SELKIRK-Patricia Frances (Bernholz) Therrien, 79, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 after an extended illness. Born in Pleasant Valley, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Mary B. (Roche) Bernholz. She was one of 12 children and grew up in Guilford, NY. Patricia attended secretarial College, graduated and later worked as a secretary in Philadelphia, PA.

She enjoyed working in her vegetable, flower and herb gardens and she dried and canned most of what she harvested. Patricia also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She was a very loving and caring wife and mother.

She was the devoted and loving wife of 59 years of Emile J. Therrien, Jr.; mother of Kathy (late Steven) Chute of Clinton, Joseph (Elizabeth) Therrien of Feura Bush, Karen (Richard, Sr.) Weisheit of Selkirk, Dan Therrien of Coeymans Hollow, Chris Therrien of Selkirk and Jim (Kathy) Therrien of Watervliet. Patricia is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
