Vandeloo, Eric P.

DELMAR-Eric P. VanDeloo, 43, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at home. Born in Albany he was the son of Joseph P. VanDeloo of Delmar and the late Frances (Dillenbeck) VanDeloo. Eric was a graduate of CBA Class of 1989 and HVCC where he earned his paramedic certificate. Eric worked for the Greenport Rescue Squad for 7 years, and had previously worked for Mohawk Ambulance. Survivors in addition to his father include his daughter Kira VanDeloo of Delmar; brother, Christian VanDeloo of Fonda; and two sisters, Joanne VanDeloo of Delmar and Amy Brennan of Selkirk; nieces, Lauren and Alisha Brennan and nephew Andrew Brennan; also many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, March 14, 2014 at10 am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 125 Eagle St. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
