ALBANY- Anne T. (O’Bryan) Walther, 94, died Monday, February 27, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Delaney) O’Bryan. Mrs. Walther was a graduate of Coxsackie Central School and attended the College of Saint. Rose. She worked for the NYS Bar Association as a bookkeeper for over 20 years. She was a communicant of St. James Church. Mrs. Walther was an avid reader and she enjoyed antiquing especially collecting jewelry and glassware. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and treasured being surrounded by her family.
She was wife of the late Stanley L. Walther; mother of Thomas (Amada) Walther of Coxsackie, Diane Dinova, Maureen (Michael) Smith all of Albany and the late Ronald J. Walther and Stanley “Corky” Walther; grandmother of Maryanne, Michelle, Christy, Michael, Jennifer, Brian, Nathan, Andrew, Amy, and Erin; sister of the late Rita O’Bryan, Margaret Keary, Mary Sportman, Augustine, Henry and Francis O’Bryan; also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. thence to St. Francis of Assisi Parish (formerly St. James Church) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday, March 2, 2012 from 4-8 pm. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford, NY. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 301 Hackett Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
