MALTA - Warren L. Schreiber, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 29, 2025. He was born in Brooklyn on April 17, 1948 to the late Charles Schreiber and Charlotte Aschenbeck. After he graduated highschool, Warren joined the Army and was honorably discharged in 1970. He was a graduate of UAlbany. Warren was a database engineer for CMA Consulting Services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, and playing softball. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Karen, and his brothers, Charles and John.

Warren is survived by his wife, Janice; his sons, Michael and James; grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Tristan, Jacob, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Parker, Ethan, and Thatcher; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 5th from 10am to 12pm at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, followed by a funeral service at 12pm. He will then be interred with military honors at Saratoga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
