Weaver, Michael A. Sr.

ALBANY-Michael A. Weaver Sr., 53, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Stanley Weaver and Elizabeth Deso. Michael served in the U.S.Army, and was a graduate of Albany High School in 1979 and later went to Hudson Valley Community College. He worked in the construction industry and the computing technology field.

Mike was a diehard NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching sporting events, especially his son’s games. He had a sense of humor and always seemed to have a smile on his face. He loved his family unconditionally. Later in life he came to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Darlene (Weldon) Weaver; his son, Michael A. Weaver Jr. (Jennifer Bartoli); granddaughter, Kaylee Victoria Weaver; siblings James A. Deso, Richard A. Deso, Mary Elizabeth Deso (David Green), Tina Marie Deso; Goddaughter, Christie Bickley (Maurice Bickley); many nieces and nephews; cousins, Kathy Marie Furlong and Robert Mellon.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Bertrum Deso, Kathleen Brady and Stanley H. Weaver Jr.

Services will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Grace Chapel ofRavena, 2488 Rt. 9W, Ravena, NY 12143. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Church prior to the service beginning at 4 p.m. Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Flowers may be sent to the church.
