Williams, Mary L.

RENSSELAER- Mary L. Williams, 66, passed away December 24, 2015. Born on July 13, 1949 in Ridgeland, SC, she moved to Albany with her late mother Gerdie Thomas in 1959 where she met her husband Samuel F. Williams of Cincinnati, OH. After living in Albany for some time, Mary moved to Cincinnati where she raised four children. In 1966, she returned to Albany and worked for Living Resources.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory her children, Sandy, Michelle, Samuel, Michael and Shirley Williams and Ivory Lewis; her husband Samuel Williams; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; son-in-law Kevin Bartee and five siblings.

Funeral services Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 9:00 am in Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 58 Alexander St. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at the Church prior to the service from 8:00am to 9:00 am. Burial will follow in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, 51 Belle Ave. Troy, NY.
